un*cle (UNG-kel) n. 1. a brother or brother-in-law of one's father or mother. 2. (children's informal) prefixed to the given name of an unrelated man friend.
In the blogginning ... I am 43, somewhere around 150 lbs, over 5'6", and past a few of life's experiences for which I wish I had a better memory to recall. And, my superhero crime-fighting name is "Zio Tony". (What's yours?)
I hatched this blog because a lot of people probably think that moving to Italy is pretty cool and I'm kind of on the spot to make a good show of it. Also, because I don't have a wife to pet, kid to dote over, or dog to raise - perhaps putting something out there for my Friends and Family to enjoy is what being Zio Tony is all about.
Afterall, we enjoy our relationship because we share curiosities and sensibilities ... and when I travel alone, I do bring along my imaginary friends ...
Ciao Zio Tony Fans! As you already know, Milano is the Fashion Capital of the world. So, as you can imagine, I really couldn't feel like I had arrived (or at least fit in) until I had my own pair of orange pants hanging in the closet. Now, the funny thing about orange "pantaloni" is that once you have them, the first thing you ask yourself is, "What really goes with Orange Pantaloni?
Well, to begin with, eating gelato certainly goes with Orange Pantaloni ...
... and so does taking a caffe'.
I would suppose that window shopping
for things that go with Orange Pantaloni
also goes with Orange Pantaloni ...
... just like strolling along the cobblestones
and passing cafes in the Brera District
go with Orange Pantaloni. And, how about walking around Castello Sforzesco and Parco Sempione?
Don't they go with Orange Pantaloni?
Of course, it's quite obvious that riding Milanese trams
goes with Orange Pantaloni ...
... but sometimes I wonder,
"Did Leonardo wear Orange Pantaloni?"
Whatever the answer,
going to the Galleria Vittoria Emanuele
definitely goes with Orange Pantaloni ....... even if you go to do what other Milanese do ...
... without wearing Orange Pantaloni. So you see, Orange Pantaloni simply go with being in Milano.
